Question about Olympus FE-170 Digital Camera
If I take a picture, when I view it it has strange 'highlights' of pink and violet at the edges of objects. This has just started as previous photos have been perfect. It takes perfect videos, it is just the still photos that are corrupt. I have tried resetting to the factory settings in case I had inadvertantly changed a setting, but no joy so far. ANY suggestions appreciated.
This sounds like the first signs of CCD sensor malfunction. If this is correct it will get worse and pretty shortly you will have no image at all in capture mode. Have a new sensor installed and camera will work fine.( btw this is a common fault effecting all makes of digital cameras and v-cams ).
