Pearl Mp3 Player

I am not albe to add new songs off my play list. I get an error that says I do not have enough room and should remove some song tracks. I cheched how many mb used and how many left and there is plenty of room. I went ahead and removed 7 songs that came with the player, then tried to add the 3 I wanted and still received the error. When I go to xfer, I get a + sign in a box, and another box on top of that one.

Re: Pearl Mp3 Player

Once a playlist is created, you must remove the entire playlist from the mp3 player to re-add a playlist with additional songs on it.

Usable memory exceeded please remove some files. rca pearl TH1702-A mp3 player

Hi lauriankilla...
Sounds like your RCA Pearl is full and it is asking you to delete some of the music/files that you have on it before you can add any more music/files.
If you want an easy way to delete the files then follow the instructions below
Please take time to rate me

Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,Audio Books, Apps,etc. from MP3 Player/Ipod
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete"
Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.

I keep trying to add songs to my PEARL and after i have added them, the mp3 player says there are no files. However, when I connect it to my computer, the music is there and I can click it and it will play...

in my opinion it is enough to format your player memory. Connect it to the PC and make back up your media files. Format the drive of the player. After this all the media files will be disapeared from the player. Then copy back the media files backed up frpm the PC.
I hope in this way your songs will come back again.

RCA Pearl 2GB

Click this link to go to the RCA support page. Under the light bulb, click "For TH1102 click here". This will download the firmware for your Pearl. Plug in your mp3 player and run the file. This will delete any songs or data currently on your mp3 player so back up your songs if you can.

How do a veiw my library on my mp3

Plug your mp3 into the computer using your usb cable. Open windows explorer and click on drive "E". it might be different on different computers but a little playig around should find it. Then by trolling through it you should find all the files available on your mp3. Your problem was created by removing it from the computer without using the safety hardware removal. I still have not found a simple method to rectify this problem.

Removing songs after download complete

I am finding that most MP3 players need a certain amount of free space to function. Some will delete things to make that wiggle room. Mine, for intance, won't even turn on if I've filled it. My advise is to try to figure out how much it is deleting and always keep that amount empty.
