Question about Canon IMAGERUNNER 2230 Copier

Canon PowerShot Camera A70

It will no longer take a picture, the LCD Monitor goes black after reviewing pictures already taken. I have installed three sets of new batteries without changing the out come. It will let me review, but when I plug the camera into the computer to download and save the pictures it shuts down. I really think I have perhaps pushed the wrong button on Menu or Function by mistake. It worked great one minute and the next the monitor goes blank anytime I switch the mode to camera. I'm not to brite with all the technical terms on how things are set or used. I'm 72 years young and have not caught up with the younger generation on the use of electronic. I have reformatted the CF Card with the same results. Any halp would be appreciated. Ralph Craig.

Re: Canon PowerShot Camera A70

This came under a recall from Canon. The defect was exactly as stated. They fixed it at no charge. Nice company. Andy

My mp610 Canon printer will no longer print email documents (black)- leaves page blank, except for email address (in blue print)., But printer will still print satisfactory color pictures (Photos). B

Get the latest driver from Canon's web site. Then uninstall the printer. Remove the driver from your computer. Use regedit to remove any traces of your printer from your registry. Install the new driver. That should do it.

Free canon manuals

Sorry, you don't. The SX280's display is fixed; it doesn't move. You can put a mirror behind the camera, have somebody else set up the shot, or have somebody else pose while you set up the shot, but you can't see the back of the camera from in front of it.

You may download the manual at

Dont know how to get scanner working

The printer and scanner use different drivers! Check if you installed the scanning driver and software too. Usually the installation media contain a bundled scanning software! Beware of any other driver tha may have been installed in the meantime! You may try a drivers update!

Bad yellow cast to photos when printed

If you have a yellow cast to your photos, the problem might not be your printer. If you're using a digital camera, indoors under incandescent lighting without a flash your pictures will look yellow.
If this is the case, set your camera's White Balance to Incandescent lighting or use the flash. If all of your pictures, even those taken in daylight, look yellow you'll have to adjust the colors on your printer using the "toolbox" software that comes with it and back the yellow off. I've found that HP printers tend to have better color rendition than Canon.

Hi I am trying to Connect my new Pogo Printer to my Canon Powershot A40 and having trouble, can you help?

I have that camera and a new Pogo printer. To print, attach the camera to the printer with a USB cable. Make sure the camera's "take pictures/view pictures" slide switch is in the down view pictures position. Turn on the printer, turn on the camera. Select the picture to print. Press the camera's FUNC SET button. Accept the default settings and press the FUNC SET button again. In a few seconds, your picture should start to print.

Why is there 2 black ink cartridges in my Canon MP600 printer

On some printers, probably including yours, the black ink will be taken from the reserves in your colour cartridge unless you specifically tell it to do a black and white print on each document, regardless of whether it's printing black exclusively. I wouldn't worry, the black ink in it's own cartridge can also be used for colour photos etc with no detrimental effects.
