I turned the brightness all the way down on my vp211b - not thinking that I would not be able to see the OSD to turn it back up. How can I do a factory reset without being able to see the OSD?

PDF Manual at the link below.

http://www.viewsonic.com.au/support/manuals/files/LCD/Series%20P/VP211b-1%20User%20Guide%20English.pdf

Press MENU (Button 1)
Then DOWN Arrow followed by ENTER (Button 2)
Then DOWN Arrow followed by ENTER (Button 2) and you should be in the Brightness Menu

UP / DOWN Arrows should now change Brightness

Have a Viewsonic LCD TV N4790p and currently unable to switch tv on. the standby light flashes blue every 30 seconds to a minute and the TV is unable to switch on. there is sound coming out but no picture.

Hello antlisa02:
First lets try a hard reset, that means unplug your tv from the outlet thats providing power to your set. Leave it unplugged for at least a couple of minutes. Plug it back in and hopefully your TV has reset itself.
Other than that you might have to have it professionally looked at.
Here is a link for your manual, maybe it might help you.

I have a Viewsonic N2635W LCD HDTV and need to know if there is a way to unlock the forgotten Parental Control Password? Any help would be appreciated. I looked in the manual but it does not have any info...

I need a stand as well and can't find one yet but the manual says this Using the Parent Controls 1. Press the MENU button to display the OSD main menu. 2. Press ▲ or ▼ to select the “Parental” menu. 3. Enter the password. (The default password is 0000, which can be changed. There is also a universal password 3660 that remains eternally valid.)

National products

I'd say that's a National Panasonic and you will need your actual model number (N-something) to look it up.

But Australian manuals can be downloaded here:
http://panasonic.com.au/support/downloads/

Otherwise, you should be able to get support here:
http://panasonic.com.au/support/index.cfm
