you should not have factory reset when you lose a chnl delete the chnl then rescan you never need to factory reset you lose the flash or newest update you had installed reflash your box and delete the chnls that are scrambled only and then rescan
these channels are gone now,along with the rest that went a while ago.sadly your ntl box`like thousands more` is slowly dying. the best you can do is upgrade to the new boxes available now.i`m thinking of doing the same cause i`m in the same situation too!!
sometimes channels change frequency so they dont work,have u tried a factory reset 0000 to delete,power off at back/on and autoscan ur provider,and emu to on,usually brings them back,do not scan thru splitters as u will lose channels.

I also have a starview box 2 with an NTL connection/ When i put the codes in for example 00 - cd 76 82 bb 22 0a then i press ok then i enter 01 - 35 5e d6 40 6e aa 99 41 then go to channels i get updating data and it stays at 0%. Why ?? What a nightmare !! Can u help !?

who is your provider? different codes for each..
