Smith and Wesson Model 17 rear site assembly . I bought this gun used with a scope. Removed the scope and their is no rea site assembly . Can't seem to locate a copplete assembly.Went to a gun shop but they was $150.oo for a after market assembly .Price is way too high.

Have you checked the on line gun stores? the have them for a better price if you want some web pages to the good sorces I can give them to you but you have to join (No Cost) to look attheir equipment. Let me know.

-   I have the same issue, but with a S&W 625. I found a 3rd party sight assembly that looks good, but don't know anything about it otherwise. Link: http://www.topgunsupply.com/txt-rear-sight-s-w-revolvers.html.
