I removed the sealing gasket from the Wolfgang Puck 5-Qt. Electric Pressure Cooker to wash. Once I put it back on - I now can't get the lid to set up properly nor lock. I don't know whether it matters which way it came off or goes back on - as turning it over either way and installing still means I can't get the lid back on nor turn it to lock.

I bought a cook's essentials pressure cooker model cepc660 about a year ago. I love this cooker. However, the last time I used it I was browing some meat and all of a sudden the power went off. I checked the outlet with other units and they worked fine. I also moved the cooker to another outlet but it still doesn't have power. Can you tell me what the problem is and how I can fix it. Please I love this cooker.
