I have a foxconn sound card built in to my main board but since the pcs hard drive crashed i lost sound and can not get the sound to come back up. can you help
Need to know the brand and model of the motherboard look for white text around pci slots and between cpu and ram.
Or another way to find out what drivers you require would be to get the device PNP ID from the sound card.
to do this, press start and then select run (optionally you can hold down the windows key and press r) in the run menu type in msinfo32 and press ok.
In the system information tool, on the left side click open the components and from there problem devices.
send me all the information from this window, the whole pnp device id also and error message.
That doesn't seem to be valid, lets go about this the device id way, send me the full device pnp id. and your using xp right?
Let me know the device ID and I'll get you the drivers.
