My Hotpoint dishwasher won't fill with water. I
My Hotpoint dishwasher won't fill with water. I have not used it for quite a while and last time I've used it (about a year or two ago) it worked fine.

- fills slighty then stops. checked bobber thing, doesnt seem stuck. still no results. also removed water drain cover, dosent seem clogged. also checked center water supply tower, seems like it moves freely.- stmelgradApr 03, 2009
- I have just replaced the heater element in my dishwasher after it failed, when using for the first time a pipe had come off and caused a leak. This has now been secured but the fault errors Eco and prewash are lit and the dishwasher will not fill. I have checked the filter and pump they are both clear and is not any water in the bottom of the dishwasher. Any advice please?- GuestSolution #1

abviosely check that there is water going into it but also check the float switch. There should be a bobber type of thing that goes up and down when the water fills in there. Move that up and down to see if it's stuck. You should here a click of a switch when doing that. If that doesn't do it let me know.
