Question about Hitachi 32HDX60 32 in. Plasma Television
I have a thin blue vertical line about 1 or 2 pixels thick, running from top to bottom. It emerges when showing light colors or greens etc! Any ideas what this might be? can it be fixed?
SOURCE: thin vertical red line
This maybe the symptom of a bad Panel. One Vertically This line is 99% bad panel. Call your warranty provider or SONY tech support if purchased under 2 years.

The Optical Block / Light Engine is the problem. Very expensive repair / over $1000

Testimonial: "Optical block was the problem and has been replaced and TV is like new. Thank you for your response."
If that line is constantly there (even when you are using the AV entry) then no, the defect is in the panel itself, it can't be fixed.
