Re: wont turn off

Try holding the On/Off Switch in the Off position. At the same time press and hold the Volume Up on the other side. After a few seconds it should switch off and work as normal.

I have a Phillips GoGear Vibe MP3 player. How do I turn it off??

I suspect all models of the GoGear Vibe work the same way. You turn on and off the unit by sliding and holding the switch on the side. This switch is on the opposite side from the volume controls. If you simply slide this power switch in the opposite direction, you can toggle the button lock on and off. (This locks every function except the volume control.) (Look for the power and padlock icons near the switch.)

Documentation for the Philips MP3 players should be available from their site. The SA1VBE04K/17 documentation is here:;jsessionid=2F114FC33AAEE23A73C9DE3200F8E54F.app101-drp1?t=support .

I hope this helps.

Nano ipod will not charge and battery is low and on lock and wont disengage! help please.thanks

Important: If your iPod is frozen or won't turn on, it may be because iPod is paused or the Hold switch is in the locked position. If so, a lock symbol appears on the screen. Slide the Hold switch to the unlocked position and check the screen.
To reset an iPod with a Click Wheel: . Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
2. Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.

Try pressing the reset button with a thumb tack or paper clip. That will turn the player off and then you should be able to move the hold switch to the off position and turn the player on normally.
