Second toshiba tv and they both do the same thing

I can not get all my channels. Only 13 channels. I have cable and should get 70 channels. I do get them on my other tvs but can not get them on either of the Toshibas. After the 13th channel it begins scanning thru all the channels but with no picture only snow. when I mannually go to a higher channel, I get only snow and no picture. What could be the problem and how can I fix it? Please give me a solution to this problem. Thanks, skfm21

It is possible that your Toshiba is set to receive aerial TV programs and not Cable TV programs.
You need to go to the set-up menu (via remote) and go to the air/cable selection. Choose cable and then auto search/scan. This is a generic procedure and should work with your particular brand/model but the terms/names may just be a bit different. You may also consult the users manual for the exact procedure.
