Re: no heat

There's no fuses on the unit. the cord connects to the control panel, the motor and the gas controller. you may need to remove the door and some screws holding the front panel in place. the panel will come forward and there may be some wires to disconnect for the light. the panel bottom has two tangs and notches they fit into. on the right bottom is the burner - check to see if anything is loose in the burner tube. maybe there's some loose change inside the drum or the blower housing. check the klixon thermostats on the burner and blower housing. the flame sensor may be loose

No heat in dryer

there is a heating element that comes on/off during the cycle it's is located in the back, bottom of the dryer...easy to remove. Unless it's a newer front load model... which I personally hate :) because you access the FL model from the front.. but it's just like a heating element in a furnace, test it w/ a nolm meter, you should be able to see the break in the coil....

Samsung front load dryer will turn on but not spinning or drying. I was wiping it out and turning the drum I heard a snap sound.

I was cleaning mine and doing the same thing last night. Washed a load of clothes tonight and went to dry them and everything works on it except it won't spin or heat. Heard the same type of popping noise last night cleaning it out. Have you found any solutions? Mine is just over a year old. I did some reading and thing that the dryer belt came off its assembly possibly. Have you found a solution?

Where is the thermostat on the Frigidaire FERB7800DSO ?

you should first check your fuses/ circuit breakers, the dryer can run with 120 volts but wont heat unless you have 240 volts.
if you have fuses, switch the 2 fuses around, if you have breakers, click the breaker to off and then turn back on.
try the dryer again and see if it runs and/or heats. if yes or no then that was the answer.
if not a power problem, then you could have a timer or motor switch that has failed.
both are hard to check without a volt meter and not something that you should test without proper training as you have to test these with LIVE power, and could be a safety issue for a non trained person.

Sounds like something is loose inside the dry drum

Unplug dryer!!

There should be 2 5/16th screws on the bottom panel in front. Then there are 2 more on bottom of top panel. Take off wires to door switch. Take off 4 screws to front bulkhead. Pull it off. Note how belt goes on. Take it off and pull drum.

I would first rotate drum by hand and see where noise is coming from. If inside one of the baffles in drum, you can easily lossen up screws to remove baffle to get things out.

Heating Element rattling

I would not run the dryer and check the wires to the element and make sure there are no burned wires. I would also replace the heating element. It should not be loose in any way
