Question about Nintendo GameCube Console
When playing the GameCube for about 10-20 minutes the system will shut off.
Mine did the same thing for a while, try cleaning off the screen on the left side of the console, worked for me. Good luck and Godspeed!

Does the gamecube have proper venelation? Did you try buying a cooling fan to see if that prolongs the gametime? To me, it sounds like it is overheating and shutting off before any real damage can be done. Try this and see if you get any results: Put your gamecube in middle of the room, to give it plenty of air and turn it on and see how long you can play it. If it doesn't shut off, the place where you usually have it probably doesn't have enough venelation to keep the cube cool. If that doesn't seem to do anything, check and make sure all the connections are snug (i.e. gamecube to power strip...etc.)
