Voice mail

How can I set for my voice mail when I get a message. According to my manual the green light will flash slowly when I get a voice mail. But I don't know what to click on the phone for that feature. My friend called me and left a message but the light will not flash. I need your help step by step please.

Do your Dial tone sound different. Your phone listens to the dial tone. if you have a new voice mail your dial tone changes.and your phone does the flashy thing accordingly. Contact your phone company.
