To install advrcntr2.dll, follow these instructions:

Install the latest update to your Nero program if there is one available. There may have been certain issues in your original version of Nero that caused the advrcntr2.dll error you've been seeing.
Restart your computer again.
Run a virus/malware scan of your entire system if the Nero reinstallation steps don't resolve your issue. Some advrcntr2.dll issues can actually be related to hostile programs that masquerade as the advrcntr2.dll file.

Try updating nero as the early versions of Nero 6 where quite buggy. Also try to remove all junk files / temp files in your system using cleanup software(free download).

I have upgrade from Nero 7 Ess to Nero 7 Prem and had a lot of trouble but I did it I should have unistall one and installed the new one because they are two separate programs all my old saved files would not work with Nero 7 Prem I used CCleaner both the registry part and the Cleaner part I also deleted directories in Programs and did a search for any where else it would be and deleted them The installed nero 7 Prem It seem to work but Nero prem did not have Light Scribe

Try first uninstalling nero.

How to remove the problem
Down load the all clean tool from Nero and save it.

Run Nero cleanTool twice.( select all options to remove)
then exit.
Restart the computer.
Reinstall the Nero software.
Restart the computer.
Now you will see everything works fine.
