IC module part for Hitachi 50EX12BA?

Hi, we are in the Army stationed overseas. Getting tech support is tough. We are wondering what part and where to order, the IC module for a Hitachi 50EX12BA. We are having similar convergence problems as described in the site where the Red and or Blue bow inwards from the bottom. Can you tell us how to order the part and where to get basic instructions on how to replace it. We are pretty savy and have our own technitians that work with military electronics. Thanks Joe

Here is a link to over 43 pages of parts for the Hitachi 50EX12BA. Luckily for you they sell ICs and if you click on the IC link, it will show you the particular IC number. http://tigerdirect.partsearch.com/GetModel.aspx?MfgName=Hitachi+Ltd&BrandName=Hitachi&ModelNumber=50EX12BA&page=1&SortBy=description&sortdirection=asc I'd take SiverDragon up on the offer. SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

hi ,thats is your convergence circuit is defect, you got 2 integrated circuit call
STK 390-xxx the ic # are depend of the tv chassis model number,
they got to be replace whit new one/ the component arround the ic like resistor ,capacitor
and some time 2 transistor for the minus 25volt,and plus 25 volts
some time you replaced just the stk ic and its ok,anyway taht have to be trouble shoot
if you know a good tech its will be better, or if you have some experience whit this ok
that is an hour job about to verify the circuit component near the ic like some low value resistor
.thats all i can do from here....
hope that give you an idea and have a merry christmas

I have a Hitachi television, Model 60SX12B, and I have been told by the person working on it, that he is waiting on parts to come from overseas. It has been over 14 months now and I am wondering if he is...

it depends on what parts he needs, tell me what is wrong with the set and I will try assist you, I know Hitachi sets very well, 14 months is way too long to wait.

Part number for IC module Hitachi 50EX12BA?

The Hitache 50EX12BA uses 2 IC's labeled STK392-110. If you are looking in the back of the set, the convergence IC's are mounted on the large heat sink on the right side. If one of the IC's has burned out, go ahead and replace both IC's with the newer improved STK392-150 IC's. These IC's are very common and can be ordered from almost any electronics parts supplier. When installing the new IC's you will need to clean off the old heat sink compound and apply fresh compound to the back of both IC's.

Jumpy Picture on Hitachi 55FX48B

On older Hitachis the most common jumpy picture is loose connections on the vertical output IC. If you can tap on the main board and get it to act up then this is most likely the situation. I believe the location is IC401 and is located toward the front of the set on the signal panel. Not too tough to repair if thats all it is.
