The screen is in black and white
I just changed TV's and my DVP-NS55P is only showing black and white when I play a DVD.

- I changed the S-Video cable and still get black and white picture. The TV is a Quasar. 15 years old.

Check your color settings in the menu of the dvd player and the tv and make sure they are set to show in color when a dvd is playing.

If it was showing color before, then it is the television IC that is faulty and not your dvd.
