Contact the company who manufacture ths NV-300. I can tell you now ti's manufactured in Russia. Well, check the internet for "Night Vision 300, Also, this could be Night Owl Optics, Bushnell Optics, Lebel/Zinth Optics, ATN, etc.

Send me a picture and give me the diameter of the eyepiece on both ends. Most of these monoculars will basically have the same parts. GB...stewbison

Can't find user manual for TASCO NV 360 Night vision Monocular.

It's really a pretty simple device, install batteries, turn on the switch, focus the eyepiece and you're there. If you need more, Tasco should be able to help via their website or customer service number.

Where to access the battery compartment to replace batteries on Tasco NV 356

It could be on the top with a small hatch door that holds two AA batteries. Also, there could be a screw in cap on the back that could hold one or two CR123A 3 volt batties.

Unless it has finger crip lever on the top, this piezo electric plunger. The plunger needs to be activated about twenty plus times to build some current for the storage capacitors that will charge a small batteries. stewbison

My Night Owl Cyclops NOCC3 night vision monocular wont pick up the infra red light properly so I can't view anything at night!!!! I haven't the lens cap off in light only when it's dark out and it won't...

Hello, is the IR glowing red, don't look into the IR lens. Just place your hand in front of it and see the is a red glare on your had. If there is a red glare then IR is work.
Another thing when you taking a look see through the Night owl NV monocular there should be a green glow from the image intensifier tube, if not, then the NV monucular isn't working properly. stewbison

I need the instruction manual. Also, what is the top red light for? Just what does it do

Hey, you got you self a Russian NV monocular. There should be two switches. One switch is to turn on/off the unit. The second switch is used to turn on the IR illuminate--which means infrared red light. To improve the night capabilities of the NV monocular. Ther are two LED's one green for on/off switch and one LED that is red for the IR illuminator.

NO-NO-NO's

When the NV monocular isn't been used, take the batteries out. The worst NO-NO's is looking through monocular during the daylight hours. The do have metal front lens cover with a small hole in the center for a few minutes of viewing during the day. Remember---Use Only During the Night---Do look at bright lights, don't let the kids play with it and make dam sure that Grandfather doesn't get his hand on it. He will be doing long range peeping at the neighbors or the lady that leaves here blinds open during the. Kid-No, Grandfathers-N0, Fathers-that up to them. If pop going some night look see. I'll make a bit his survival ratio has raised demise by 70%. stewbison

Simply does not work anymore. I put in fresh batteries, and the on button and infrared work but when i look through the optics I only see black

Hello, it sound like it went south, hey. These NV monocular uses Russian manufactured image intensifier tube and they are cheap. As far as the longevity is from 1 minute to 10 ten years. I have thrown away at-least 10 within the last 6 months, and that seems to be the problem with all of the that have the logo, Zinth NV, Night Owl, Rigel Optics, ATN, Bushnell, Tasco, on and on Sorry to tell this. stewbison

Hello, most of these NV monoculars uses CR123A. It a 3 volt battery about 1/2 size of AA and its girth is a little larger. Aslo, some use two AA batteries. Little information here. Some of these night visison monoculars and binoculars that sealed for water infiltration are epoxy together. stewbison

Hello, I fell the same way buddy. Sorry to here about your Night Vision monocular? But Tasco NV monocular is manufactured in Russia. It seem you got a few year out of your NV devise...7 years is very good. The biggest thing that goods bay is the Russian manufactured image intensifier tube. There are cheap. This is about 85% of the monocular problem and 90% of the cost. Two items that viewed as important with NV devises. The case, and the image intensifier tube. Now, if you have Russian optics above 50mm for the front lens then on could consider that the optics are another cost. Auction it off on eBay as "doesn't work, parts only" Sorry, and I wish you luck...GB...stewbison
