The answer is yes. You will not get the full capability of the SATA 3.0 technology, however. The harddrive will be operating at the SATA 1.5 technology.

There are a lot of g31 models.
Look at the sign at your motherboard and select the appropriate driver for you.

G33 and G31 are chipsets. They do not refer to a specific motherboard. Without a specific motherboard model, we can't provide all of the drivers for it.
