SOURCE: SHARP Multipurpose Copier

here is the link for the manual for an AL 1611/1622/1644 which are pretty similar as far as i can tell. See if you can get what you need from there - http://www.tradenet.sharp.co.uk/files/Personal_Products_%28Copier%2CPrinter%2CFax%29/AL_Product/AL1622/AL1622851.pdf best I could find otherwise is that these machines often do not like to be plugged into a circuit with other items on it, try a different power socket, and check you haven't somehow activated the "individual accounts" feature - this only allows you to do anything after typing in a code. check page 45 for details, I am sure they will be almost identical to the model you have. Hope this helps :)

F2-65 shows on my sharp mx4501n copier what will i do

Your machine is starved for cyan toner. Either the toner supply pipe is blocked or the CRUM counting chip on the back of the cyan toner cartridge has zapped out or wound down to zero. Try replacing your toner cartridge. If still no go you'll have to take out the drums, developer tanks and transfer belt, hold a piece of paper under the cyan supply pipe spout and tap the pipe to break up the toner.

How do you check the color cartridge usage on Sharp Mx4501n printer if there is no alert?

Hold down the copy button. These are approximate values and are calculated so they are not right on.

Trying to put in a new paper roll

Turn off the Sharp EL-1801V.

  • 2 Cut the end of the replacement paper roll for a fresh edge and to ensure a smooth feed. Do not tear the paper roll, as feeding a torn paper roll can cause a paper jam.
  • 3 Insert the cut edge into the paper opening on the back of the Sharp EL-1801V. Hold the paper roll so that the edge being fed into the machine is coming from the bottom of the roll. Turn the power on.
  • 4 Press the "Feed" button until the paper is fed through the unit. Lift the metal paper roll holder up. Slide the paper roll onto the paper-roll holder.

What does an error code H4-01 mean on a Sharp MX4501N copier? The machine no longer copies, simply displays: Call for service Code H4-01.

Fuser Heater failure. The fuser is the part of your machine that heats up and "fuses" the toner onto the paper. It is located right near where the paper exits the copier. This error code means that the fusing unit is not heating up as it should. The most common failures in order of ocurance are thermal fuse, thermister and heater lamp. In any case you are going to need a service person to come out and diagnoe which part has failed, replace the part and reset the code for you. Should not be more than say $200 to repair.
Good Luck and Thank You for using Fixya.

    Sharp AR 5316 E ia giving me h 4

This sounds like a fuser unit is causing the problem.
If this problem is at warm up, the fuser maybe the cause of the problem.
Turn on the machine, wait for the error code to appear. Open the side door where the fuser is located. Try to feel the area and see if it is warm, careful not to touch the heat roll itself, it can be hot.
If it is not hot, the problem area is with the unit, or the main board that controls it.
