Sound on laptop does not work

install the right sound driver for your laptop module , search for it on google .

If you can hear sound when you test it via the control panel, then the sound hardware and drivers are good. Whatever software or application you are using that is ailing to provide sound is probably the culprit.

have you been to device manger and checked that it is enabled, if try updating sound video drivers.

try going to device manager and try to see there if your sound card is in the list, if its not then your sound card is defective. by the way, did you install the right driver for your sound card. virtual sound drive wont work if you have the wrong sound card driver and a defective sound card.thanks.

Please connect an external speaker or headphones and check if you get sound. If sound works then the issue is with the onboard speakers in the laptop.

If sound does not work with the external speakers or headphones then the issue could be with the sound card driver or settings.

It sound like your headphone jack is the default sound device. Go to control panel > sounds > look at the devices listed. Click on the speakers that have a device connected to them. You may have two selections for speakers, but one may be tied to a sound device and the other to headphones. Highlight the sound device and click on make this device the default sound device and hit apply.

try to uninstall the sound driver and install the actual one from here http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/notebook/as_4720.html

1.Pl download your laptop sound driver from lenovo web site and install it then not working sound so your laptop require to check physically sound card working or not working in laptop motherboard.

i think you need to uninstall the sound driver and download lastest sound driver for your sound card from your laptop manufacturer website. check this website:-> www.medion.com
