Re: Hp Printer Dos't Not Print

The Sensores on your printer are not recognising the paper, either the sensor has dirt on it or jiggle sensor a little and this should solve your problem if not let me know.

Looking for printer software hp656c for my laptop windows 7 (32 bit)

Thats quite an old printer, it should work with a generic printer driver for basic text printing, otherwise try some of windows 7s built in HP injet drivers. I doubt you will find a specific windows 7 driver for this model, its out of support life

Did you install all the software or just the drivers, was it automatic install, add printer or did you go to "Run" to install. I usually go thru Run.

How can i install my hp deskjet d2560? when the time i bought my hp printer it has cd instalation driver but the cd has d2500 series so i go to the net and download the driver for d2560, but when i...

The same driver software is used by the D2500 printer series, of which your D2560 is one model. So the "D2500 series" drivers are correct.

Make sure you downloaded the correct drivers for your Vista version, 32-bit or 64-bit. The links are to the HP site drivers page for your printer. Also, HP printers often will not work if you connect the printer before installing the drivers. The setup guide and CD both mention this, but it is sometimes overlooked. Try uninstalling the HP software and following the process again, and make sure the printer is not connected until you are instructed to connect it.

These steps will install the proper drivers so Vista can use the printer. If the printer still is not working, please post a follow-up comment with more information: error messages, indicator lights, print quality problems, etc.

Good luck and thanks for using Fixya!

When i click on print tab the message pop up with sound " the document failed to print" what to do now, i have hp laserjet 1100

Three things ...
check that your Printer has no error: no paperjam, paper in the paperholder ink is full, etc....
Then the next step is to verify you have the correct printer driver installed on your pc. I assume this is correct as you were able to print prior to the issues occuring I assume.
lastly ... poweroff the print, poweroff your pc, wait 10 seconds... turn on your printer. Turn on your pc.
also check when your pc has turned on that the print queue is not in offline mode.,
good luck ... hope this helps

ok did you go into the control panel or on your start menu and select printers and fax's and set that printer as your default printer. ?as far as the ink , yes yes yes. most definately replace the cartages there worthless by now. also check where the ink of the cartridge touches, make sure no dry or crusted ink has accumlated there because when you put the new ink cartridges in it still wont print. do you hear any movement out of the printer even if it doesnt print ?

Constant error messages from hp deskjet2400

From the forum this is in, I will assume that you are running Win2k3EE on your laptop. Your issue might be a compatability issue with the print drivers. HP is notorious for making bad print drivers (ever since their aquisition of Compaq...before that, they did rock-solid work IMHO). For this printer, you may want to 1) uninstall the printer and use the Windows printer install wizard, as opposed to the HP installer, or 2) see if HP does offer a Server 2003 specific driver. HP commonly includes a bunch of "junk" in their Deskjet print drivers because those printers are targeted to individual home users who will use XP or Vista. Hope this helps...I know it isn't much to go on...good luck!

My printer refuse to print dont no why hp deskjet 3325

identify if the print drivers are correct, has the printer been printing fine then has stop? if so, currupted print drivers can cause this issue. uninstall the drivers then reinstall them. don't allown the auto detect to install the drivers for you, it will just install the currupted ones again that are stored in the inf directory.

Printer wont respond

When you get to the printers and faxes window, did you check HP 3323 as your default printer?

Using your word processor (e.g. MS Word), click File, Print, and you get to the Print window, make sure that the Name of your printer is set to HP 3323. You may have installed other printers previously and it's still set to that printer.
