Error says, " The layout you have selected cannot be loaded. Please select a different layout using the Home Screen item in Settings." The screen is white with black print reading this, and shows nothing else. It just came up with no warning. When I try to go to the home screen settings, there is nothing for me to choose from anymore. All the categories are blank. Help!

- Hi,I dropped my samsung blackjack 3 days back in water and immediately took it out and dried it with hair drier, luckily everything is working fine but when it goes into powersave mode the light instead of going off the screen turns white instead.
Please let me know if there is any solution for this problem.

to reset the blackjack 2 when it was frozen i pressed the power ke and up key at the same time it reboots your phone a master reset

This is a fairly rare problem, but it does happen with the Blackjack and other Windows Mobile devices.
First thing to try is:
Start -> Settings -> Display -> Home Screen -> (your carrier) Default
If this option or no options are visible, attempt to move right or left a couple of times (if you are in the list mode, move up and down) and then hit 'OK'
If this does not work, you will need to do a factory restore on your device:
WARNING - Restoring the factory settings on your device may cause the loss of all of your data that is not stored on the memory card or backed up elsewhere. Please back up your data before doing a factory reset and remove your memory card during the procedure:
From within the Software:
1. Start -> Settings -> More -> SECURITY -> More -> Reset
2. Enter '0000' and hit 'OK'
From the Powered off state:
1. Power off the device
2. Hold down the 'UP' navigation arrow while pressing the power button.
3. You will be presented with a 'format' menu, hold

Don't RESET just yet.
I have a MOTO Q with this problem. I was getting a device almost full error for a few days. After I got the above message I looked everywhere. Could not sync with my phone, etc. Could not change the homescreen. I finally deleted a bunch of programs and voila! My home screen came back!
Try this before you reset.

The screen on my Samsung Blackjack SGH i-607 is totally white, however it says "The layout you have selected cannot be loaded. Please select a different layout using the Home Screen item in Settings." I have tried pulling out the battery and SIM card but nothing changes. Everything else works fine. But the message is irritating, HEEELLLPPP!!!!!
