After dead battery, radio won't work. lights flashing

2001 Dodge Intrepid. We had a dead battery because we left the lights on. When we jump started it the radio lights *treble, bass, mid* started flashing. We have no display for time and the radio and cd player don't work. They have power because I can eject cd's but nothing will play. We checked the fuses and they were fine. Those three lights continue to flash the entire time the car is running. Does it possibly need to be reset after a dead battery? Or did it somehow get ruined?

First I would try to disconnect the negative cable and then reconnect the cable. See if it resets.

I got a 2001 dodge intrepid i was driving down the rd n the car went dead lights radio still work we replaced the battery yesterday car wants to start but wont finish turning over

Have a qualified person check the alternator to see if it is charging the new battery. Oh and check the belts on the motor. And the pulleys. If the belt is missing, it needs to be replaced. If a pulley is bad, get a new one.

When i turn the key to the on position it makes a clicking sound is than the starter and the head light will not come on

Sounds like a dead battery. Do your interior lights come on? Does your horn work? I have a 2000 Intrepid and changing the battery was a real pain in the ****.

Battery is dead when you jump it the interior lights and all idiot lights flash on and off running or with key on

if your battery is dead, its probably a bad battery and you need to have it checked. if the battery is found to be good ( but just discharged ) then you most likely have a bad alternator and that is causing your battery to die. LOW voltage or high voltage to your car will make lots of weird stuff happen.
auto parts stores can check both parts 4 u if you can get the car there.

2000 Intrepid won't start. have cleaned the battery (Less than 1 yr. old) posts and installed it back in the car and the horn honks all lights come on but as soon as i turn the key to start everything go...

Sounds like a bad battery,, it can read 12 volts but not have enough current to run the car,, a good test is to leave the lights on for 10-15 minutes, then try to start the car, most batteries will be able to start the car if they are good. and you said you can jump the car, and keep it running so the alternator appears good

2000 dodge intrepid wont start just makes clicking noise and lights and radio work

probably dead battery. it probably has just enough juice to run the lights and radio but not enough to make it start. could be battery or alternator.
