Condensate problem with portable AC

Might be a bad motor or capicator

You have to try resetting the system. First turn the breaker off for the condenser and wait about 20 seconds. After you turn it back on the system should reset.

Also What is the make / model of your air conditioner. With out that information i cant help you with your ac repair problem.

Ice forming means you have your AC set at a temp that is too low. Of course it cannot remove the heat from the air if no air can pass over the coils. There is very high humidity in the space you are trying to cool ... slow down a little on your cooling process.

Most of the time it means the filter/s need to be clean.

Bit late I know, but for others having same issue, ensure that it doesn't need draining - use black tube at bottom left when viewed from behind to drain any excess water.

Local hardware store would have replacement plugs and yes that would help the situation out. But the problem may lie inside the actual outlet also. So you may want to investigate the problem alittle more unless you have already done so
