Question about Texas Instruments TI-89 Calculator
Hello I am having trouble with my calculator when I turn on the computer the screen is black and is remaining that way and I would like to know how to repair the situation.
You can try to turn the contrast down by pressing 2nd and then hold "down" If the screen does not fix, put new batteries in (including the back up batteries). The problem will be resolved. Hope this helps...

I changed my batteries - including the back up one - it did fix the issue for that time. Next time i used the calculator - the screen is back to black.
Any other suggestions?
