Eureka altima stopped power mid vaccuming, have changed outlits

While vaccuming the power just cut off. I changed to a different outlit around the house (one I know is working) and the vaccum still does not come on.

Make sure all your filters are clean, try to turn the brush roller by hand a few times if it turns real freely then the belt is broke.if it is reall hard to turn then you have something wrapped around the ends of the roller where the bearings are.your motor guard might be keeping it from running because it got too hot take the brush roller out and the belt let it cool down for 20 minutes then try it without the roller and belt.you should be able to take the ends of the roller off by just pulling out on them so you can remove what ever is in there

Internal switch may be too tight to toggle and became disconnected from plastic mechanical slide mechanism. Replace switch for $20.00 and you should be good to go.

I am looking for the filter for the Eureka bagless Altima vaccum cleaner

There should be an toll free # to call for eureka and they can direct you to the nearest authorized eureka service center in you area. If its a new model places like wallmart wont stock it. There are so many vacuum makes and models its impossible for any one business to stock every single bag, belt, filter etc. for them all. But a decent vacuum repair shop should be able to get it for you.

I have a Eureka Bravo! 7.0 vaccum cleaner, how do I change the belt

Turn the vac over so the brush is facing up.. There is a cover plate that surrounds the brush.. Take the screws out and remove the cover plate.. Pull up on the side of the brush that the belt is on.. Replace the belt.. The belt goes around the metal shaft and the brush.. Push the brush back in place.. It might be a bit tough going in because the belt causes some tension.. Put the cover plate and screws back in..

Good luck ! Please don’t forget to rate well ;o)
