Re: IC-VG61....need drivers!!!

The PCGUY's solution is a waste of time and very lam at best. Here is THE solution. I have been in contact with FIC directly. Since this system is very old (circa 2002-2003), the drivers are no longer on their normal site. They are, however, on the below linked site. Unfortunately, for today anyway, the site seems to be down. I have contacted their hardware support and as of today they are looking into it and will try to get the site back up again. By the by, I was told this is the only place the drivers will be. Here are two links to try (and keep trying until they come up):

Hope this helps (eventually) and if you do not have a solution, do not post!

Re: IC-VG61....need drivers!!!

For some reason the VG61 isn't listed on the FIC site. There is still some accolades from the "press" there, but no reference to this unit.

Also, FIC has not responded to my request for a link.

Most device drivers can be found on the manufacturer sites of whatever devices they are for.

Widi crashes on start, can someone help?

If your system is running a Windows operating system, you should remove the WiFi manager that dell supplies. The Windows one is the most effective and efficient. When you have more that one system trying to do the same job you will always have a chance of conflict. If you are getting a "Blue Screen" when your system crashes then you should remove anything you have fitted since it was working properly. This type of system crash is usually caused by a hardware problem-either physical or driver based. To eliminate the drivers from the equation you should try and run your computer in "Safe Mode". this allows the system to run without external drivers.

CPU Power, Changing to a lover voltage CPU

Hi there
Firstly update the bios, then install the new CPU, go into the bios settings and set them to default, that will auto adjust the computers settings, then you can have a look in the bios again to make sure the voltage is running as preferred.

Good luck and thanks for using Fixya!!!

Case fan won't come on. pulled it and tested okay. What gives?

Yes ...the case fan will no doubt be thermally controlled if it's connected to the motherboard .... and obviously something has gone wrong with the sensor. Have a look round and see if there are any other 2/3 fan connectors on the motherboard you could use. Most times there's the "cpu fn" (we don't want to disturb that one!), "sys fn" and one or more "case fn" connectors, but being a bespoke motherboard in that SFF case you may be out of luck. You've already hooked it to 12v to get it working so it wouldn't be difficult for you to wire it permanently to a spare power connector (you will probably have to cut the cables and rejoin them). However bear in mind that the fan will then run continuously.

I have 2 HP 1400 All-in-one series printers. I have been using them with Microsoft WindowsXP and have had absolutely no problems. I recently purchased a new computer that uses WindowsVista. Do I load...

Yes,You need to use the disc that came with the printer as windows vista wont have the driver. If you need an updated driver goto and search your model for an update.Hope this helps.

New power supply

Hey, I couldn't track down much info on this one either, . . But i did find these 2 places that are linked to Laconic (Enterprises), one looks lke a 'just starting' website, but nonetheless, it has an email, and contact info, the ebay listing shows a variety of 220W Style PSU's you *might*? be able to check into for a compatible one.

Maybe these will help, if not, feel free to share any more info with me that I can use to help tracking these down for you.
