Problem for Nintendo DS Lite Console

Put in new top screen, now bottom touch screen unresponsive

I just replaces the top screen with a new one.When i powered it up both screens looks fine but when i went to touch the touch screen it wouldnt respond,I make sure all the connections were in and tight, i can figure it out, mabey i nicked someone on the mother board. Please help if you can.

I know you replaced both top and bottom, and I am assuming that you placed the touch screen as well? it would be the touchscreen that is not working or you did not connect right.

i only replaced the top screen. the bottom screen was fine when i started.
