Hello, sir LT is Compaq prasario V6307 TU,have sound & WiFi prob.

give me the wi-fi solution when i connect to wi-fi modem always shows authentically error occurred.........

On XP ? Vista ? or Win 7?
Are you using LAN Cable ,Wifi or USB modem?
First of all make sure all driver installed correctly.
Secondly Check your anti virus database otherwise disable it first

1.Turn on your local Wifi either home or how so its temporaily disabled the 'E' Edge connection provided by your carrier provider
2.After the Wifi is connected
3.Open safari browser on your iphone
4.Type in the address bar www.iphonenodata.com
5.Scroll down to the end until you see a Disable EDGE/3G
6.Click on Disable EDGE/3G
7.You'll see a popup asking you to install a Profile
8.Install the profile and after the installation is done
9.Restart the iphone
10.Turn off the Wifi
11.Wait for 'E' to appear on the statusbar (Edge)
12.Try surfing the internet
13.If you get an error saying "Could not activate cellular data network"
14.You have successfully disabled the edge it will longer take your money if the phone is idle

WIRELESS NETWORK BUTTON FIX FROM RED TO BLUE. 1. Press wireless button. 2. left click the dialog box in the bottom right corner it will prob say wireless disabled etc. 3. HP wireless assist box should open if so its working and you should click on properties. 4. check all unchecked boxes and press apply or ok etc.5 you should now see in the top right corner of the HP wireless assist box an option to turn on wifi press it. 6. Try the wifi button it should work! If not sorry it did for me.

Your system natively supports Vista or higher OS that's why this problem occurs...
Try to install Vista or Win 7.Then it will be OK.
The same problem was with me as well.I used to have C737VU.

www.compaq.com click on support and enter the model you have

first check in your bios if the internal wifi card is enabled.
if it was not then your problem should be fixed by enabling it.

if it was enabled then try :

go to the compaq/hp website go to support and get the wifi driver for your model c700.
and reinstall the driver.

if this doesnt help pls add more info like what is not working is the wifi driver installed does the wifi card show up in the hardware propertys etc any info can help.

You may find that the WiFi card needs new drivers. Some particular wifi adapters don't have XP drivers. Compaq are now owned by hewlett packard so go to www.hp.com and search for XP drivers for your wifi card there - luckily HP are very good for providing drivers for XP even on Vista-supplied systems.
