i have an playstation 2 and a couple of months ago i got guitar hero. one month after having the game, it stopped working. when i put it in everythings fine until it's almost done loading then the screen turns blank and that as far as it wil go. and there are no scratches on it, and other games will play just fine.

I have that same problem with my Gran Turismo 4 game. It loads up til the main screen then goes black and then nothing, which sucks cuz i love that game. It most likely is a programming error on the disc. Some how it was erased or damaged to the point where it can't be executed.
