So I've had my AT turntable for years. Like, 10 years. It's served me well. I finally moved it from one room to another. After setting it up, a new problem arose in which it played my record too slowly (on 33RPM). I noticed this in the vocals. I gently took the belt off and loosened/tightened some of the screws inside next to the motor cylinder. Now, it plays too quickly--the pitch is too high. I tried messing with the screws to get them back where they were, even if it would be too slow again, but now it still plays too quickly. What should I do?

If it is a belt drive model it might be that the belt is out of place and therefore causing the speed to be wrong. This might be due to age or wear of the belt. I would look at that before adjusting.
If it is good and you can't see any mechanical fault causing it. Then look for a preset pot (or two) on either the pc board or on the motor itself. They will adjust the speed. If you find two - one will be for 45 they other 33.
Bear in mind the motor might have gone wrong!
