Question about Hitachi C29-F300B 29 in. Television
Not powering up. I found the power chopper STR-f6456 was O/C destroyed by S/C zener diode D910 in the power supply. I think it is a HZS5B1 4.6 to 4.8v zener but I need to confirm. I've replaced the very expensive chopper but need the zenner to finish the job. Can anyone help me ID diode 910 in a Hitachi c29-F300b please? The diode is so tiny even under the scope its un-readable. Thanks from Rod
Thanks Larry I'm just a little reluctant to buy a manual to find one part in a TV repair for an elderly neighbor. Its a love job and proved more costly than I anticipated. I'll try everything I can to verify the part type first. The diode is about 30 cents US but I need to be sure of its type before I switch it on. I am very confident I have solved the problems in this set once I have the new diode in. good to hear from you and thanks for the input Regards from Rod
