Big screen no picture and makes heart beat noise?

The clicking you hear is probably caused by a relay that controls the incoming AC to the main power supply. This is a protective reaction to a problem in the power supply itself or an overload due to a failure downstream from the supply. This is not a likely DIY repair. You will probably need a technician to determine which of these two likely problems it is.

That's a very old model to be only 1 year old?

IF THIS IS A LCD---TURN ON, AS NORMAL AND HAVE A SIGNAL INPUT,,CABLE ,SATELLITE CONNECTED TO THE ANTENNA INPUT .MAKE SURE YOU HEAR SOUND.. HOLD A LIGHT (THE BRIGHTER THE BETTER) IN FRONT OF THE THE SCREEN ('BOUT 3 INCHES)--IF YOU SEE A DIM PICTURE---BAD SCREEN AND THATS BIG BUCKS---IF STILL NO PICTURE--CIRCUIT BOARDS AND USUALLY THATS BIG BUCKS!! Sometimes, when i watch my television, it shuts off on me and makes a loud noise.. i had to plug out the power to make it stop... why is this happening .. what should i do ?
