I need a user manual for Memorex Boombox MP3226 -- preferably a download

  • rontiara Mar 28, 2009

I've been there. The "manual" is only a one-page spec sheet. Thanks anyhow.

  • rontiara Mar 29, 2009

I found the same thing when I went to their website. I just wanted a user manual because I don't think the recording microphone is working. Actually, I think I'll just junk the thing. Thanks for trying!

I have memorex radio/cd/cassette player model MP3226. The PLAY button on the cassette tape does not stay in the down position when pressed when a tape is in the housing. If I remove the tape, and press...

I can imagine 2 cases for your problem:
Either there is a mechanical problem and something is not allowing the "play mechanism" to go all the way up to the clip position when the cassette is in the housing,
Or the tape isn't rolling up properly. Some of these deck's have some kind of protection and when the tape isn't rolling properly a system stops the play procedure. Check if both of the rollers for the tape are spinning around properly. In case of not spinning, run the cassette fast speed forward and backward in order to come to the proper state. Also check without any cassette is any roller spinning around or not?

In case of a problem or clarification or further details needed, don't hesitate to post me a reply before rejecting my answer.

I can hear music from radio with head phones...but not thru speakers. Worked until I used the CD.

i have to refer you to the users manual -- i am sure its an easy fix -- have you tried reading the manual and locating a mute biutton or switch to take you from audible to head phone set ?
