Question about SanDisk Sansa e260 MP3 Player
I have tried formating only to have the device tell me that it is unable to format. I really like the player but I am getting frustrated with the whole thing
Reformat it. 1. right click on my computer and select manage. 2. go to disk management on the left panel. 3. right click on the sansa icon, and go to format. 4. make sure that the file system is under FAT32. This worked for me, hope it does for you.

Try connecting the device to the computer and using it as a Mass Storage Device and formatting/deleting from there.
