Long Bar Codes

I have a "Gryphon" handheld that will not read some bar codes on Medical consumables such as Balloon Catheters and Stents, I have these codes and can send them to you, I would like to know which configuration to use from the Manual. I have asked the supplier but they do not seem to be able to help.
