There are two things to consider with your problems.
First: If you are trying to rewire the complete headlight wiring, you got to be a electrical mechanic to do the job. You will require 5 points relay, a new pair of 3 pins female socket and you will need to trace the actual wiring of the headlight from Switch to outlet socket.
Second: If you just meant to rewire your headlight base on the outlet socket only, which is connected to the bulb, then this is a DIY job.But you have to do some testing first how the problem come out. Is the HIGH beam working or not? Is the LOW beam working as well. Play around with the switch
by turning on and switching to high and low. If the problem comes out during the switching test then you may consider the socket as the culprit.
All you have to have is a pair of three pins female socket to be attached to the bulb. You must cut and connect each wire one at the time. Just a little help; when you have the tree pins female socket and facing at you, the top slot is for HIGH beam while the right most slot is for GROUND ang the left most slot is for LOW beam. Upon cutting the original wire, trace as far as you could if you think wires are already rotten or cut.

I would need to look at the rewire to see if it is right.

What has likely happened is one of the wires, white or black, inside the black plastic electric cord has fractured.
This is really common on electric hand tools that are either over 5 years old or are well-used.
I can't count how many times it has happened to me!
You will need to somehow cut the cord off at the bad spot, and rewire the end of the cord into the end of the drill handle.
Won't be easy, but you can do it.
Many more modern tools have a reinforced sleeve of about 2 inches at this weak spot.

They probably mean it needs a wiring loom replaced. It's worth checking if a dealer will do this for free since the car is not very old or check if there is a recall on the car.

a good service tech dont need a diagram he will just know how to do it. took me around 2 years before i could rewire a unit . you need power to certain things and you just go from there
ie: you need power to blower. you need power to transformer need secondary voltage from transformer low voltage makes the switches for things to come on or off. the compressor and starting for it has to be right or it wont run contactor has to be wired right. run cap has to be the right mfd and wired right are you working on something thats 230 volt single phase or 3 phase

yes, you can splice the cables and put on a new connector, goto radio shack with the old connector and im sure they will have one you can splice right onto it. ive done this many times with varios equipment "headphones speakers etc" it may take a couple of tries to get the wiring right but if its just one speaker there will most likely be just 2 wires, if you wire it up and it doesnt quite sound right, wire it the other way. speakers will work wired backwards but wont sound quit right so if it doesnt, rewire it and it should. good luck and i hope this helps!

Are you putting on a 4 wire flat connector? Trailer Wiring

4 Flat Small
Brown = Tail Lights
Green = Right Turn Signal & Brake Light
White = Ground
Yellow = Left Turn Signal & Brake Light

If you have a vise, put the end in to and you want to just squeeze it so you can get to the 2 tabs inside and using 2 flat blade screwdrivers, pry outward and the hose should come out of the cuff. Sometimes you can just cut and rewire, but watch and match colored wires to the right colors, mix them up and you would have a electrical mess. When you put it back together, push the cuff down until you hear it snap into place.

Go to this Asus site. Fill in the needed information on the right. This will than take you to your board. Download the manual.
Using the manual you will be able to set up your switches.
On the board and it is very hard to see. Every pin has a plus sign "+", that is the power. Black and some times white is ground. Other colors like red and green are "+".
