It looks almost like a relay at the end of a wire. Sometimes you can get down and hear it when its on. Should be located under dash but on top of steering column. Good luck

Hazard flasher: Front seating area, driver side, under dash, driver side of steering column, mounted in convenience center

The turn signal flasher is located above the fuse box under the dash on you drivers side of the vehicle. It will look like astandard relay. It is in the top row center. Hope this helps out.
in your vehicles owner manual, look up fuses, and flasher units or flasher relay. Fuses are normally located under the dash, but when both turn signals quit working it is usually the relay. The relay is located under the hood yours owners manual should show you the location.
If you are looking for the old style flasher, it's not there. It's now called a combination flasher module (more $$) and usually it's on the right side of the column under dash. If you buy one first, at least you will know what it looks like.
These have a flasher under the dash lower left side. 1. Remove lower trim 2. look for flasher plugged into fuse panel looks like a back plastic block about 1 in square with 9 prongs that plug in. 3. just replace. Part seems to be at least $30 I'm getting one for a friend.
