How do I download pictures from a AT&T Z221 to my PC using a USB cord?

Plug the USB cord from the camera into the USB port on your computer. The computer should see the camera as an external storage device. You can then click on the storage device and open the folder and copy the photos to your computer.
ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS AND VIDEOS TO A COMPUTER
If your photos and videos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos and to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.

How to transfer LG cyon 2MP camera photos to computer

1. Connect your LG Cyon to your computer via it's USB cable.
2. Upon receiving a "USB Connected" notification atop the Notification bar, drag the bar down and select "USB Connected."
3. Now select the option corresponding to "Turn On USB Storage" or connect as "Mass Storage Device"
You should now see a new flash drive or storage device connected to your computer. Browse/Move/Copy/Delete files (including photos) as you would with any other flash drive or thumb stick.

Can not connect my camera SVP aqua wp5300 to my pc, the connection from the carmera is near the battery when I open it to connect the batteries come out. How can I upload my pictures? Please help!

The USB will work. Before turning the camera off make sure it is in PLAYBACK Mode. Then turn off the camera, open the door to the batteries/USB connector, connect the USB cord to the camera and your PC. Turn on the camera (yes, with the door open. The USB will power it, no need for the batteries at this time. Just like a USB flash drive).

Your PC should "find" the new "drive". Download as you would any other USB mass storage device.

Every time i plug in my sony camera to the usb port to upload my pictures, my camera will say " usb mode. connecting to mass storage" then that will go away after a few seconds and then it...

Hi,

The "USB mode" and "Connecting to Mass Storage" message will get displayed when the Camera is connected to the Computer and is recognized by the Computer as a Mass Storage device. This is not an error message and is a normal operation.
You can change the Mass Storage settings in the Camera (depends on the model) The USB Select or USB Connect option in the Camera can be changed to PTP, Mass Storage or PictBridge mode. Set the option in the Camera to PTP and connect it to the Computer and check if the Computer is recognizing the connection. Once the computer is recognized, it appear as a removable Drive.
You can transfer the images from the Camera to the Computer from the Removable Drive by copying and pasting.

Thanks for contacting FixYa.

USB Mass storage...when I want to transfer all my viedo or photo to my computer... in the scream of camera .it`s shows....USB mass storage.... and it`s not posibel... please fine my problem.. thank...

Your PC is seeing your camera memory as USB mass storage and this is OK. Nothing is wrong with this. Follow the screens and you will see that the computer will see your camera as USB mass storage, and when you open the folder on your computer the camera pictures will be there.
Windows is set up to see cameras as USB mass storage devices for simplicity, so your computer can accept pictures from any camera that connects by USB without needing special software.
If this bothers you, most cameras are sold with their own special software that starts when the camera is connected. Check your users manual and follow the instructions for installing or downloading the software.

OK, it's simple really, go to the below website and find and download your driver, install the Driver and software, then, when you connect up with the USB cable, the PC will "See" the camera, then you should see the camera as a "Drive" and as such you can, copy, pate, and cut, as normal.

Olympus E510

Make sure the camera is on and STORAGE is selected on the camera screen when connected to the computer. You will need to have STORAGE highlighted and select OK on the camera as this starts the camera and computer to communicate. Once communication established the LCD screen of the camera goes dark and the computer should generate a removable disk drive. Check the System Tray (lower right corner beside the PC time) for Safely Remove Hardware. When you click on it, it should read "Safely Remove USB Mass Storage Device Drive ?:" If you dont see that, then check the Device Manager to see if the camera is recognized as USB Mass Storage Device. The camera uses the driver usbstor.

Same problem - no driver

I found this on another site. You have to set the camera itself to Mass Storage mode in order to work with Windows 2000. The steps are below. As soon as I did and plugged the camera back into the USB cable, Picture Project recognized the camera as connected, installed the mass storage driver for it and requested a restart of the PC. Able to access the memory card and download pictures.

On the camera itself, unplug the USB, turn it on and...

Press MENU....
Press ▲▼to choose SETUP...press OK...
Press ▲▼to choose INTERFACE...press OK...
Press ▲▼ to choose USB...press OK...
Press ▲▼to choose MASS STORAGE...press Ok..
Press MENU to exit...
Then plug it back into the USB cable.

Good Luck
