Stackable Washer Dryer won't fill with water

I have a stackable, top load washer and dryer that is about 18 months old. All of a sudden I cannot get it to fill with water. It spins, it tries to drain, but it won't fill with hot or cold. Any suggestions.

I started a load last night and when I got up this morning, it had stopped at the rinse cycle. I moved the switch forward a notch and that made it start filling and finished the cycle. This afternoon when I got home I went to start a load and it won't fill, but if I forward through the cycle to rinse, it will start to spin, but will not fill. I let it spin all the way through the cycle, but notthing happens when I go to start.

Hi
first thought would be water soleniods but it is unlikely that both would fail you could try just selecting one temp and then swaping hose and select the other temp if it wont work on either then i would think it is not a sol. problem, lid switch could cause it not to fill also but you did say it would spin so that will rule it out ,its coming back to a module problem ,something to ponder on
cheers grant

Water won't work but dryer does

Mine did the same thing and it ended up being an overloaded older breaker in the electric box. It would allow the dryer to work, but the washer was too much for it to operate. Had the breaker replaced with a new one and it works fine. Hope this helps!
