Super set 4025 wont work

My phone says waiting for sync. how do i make work ??

There are a couple of possiblities - the phone is ported but not programmed, the phone type is not correct (420 instead of 4025) or the wires are reversed.

1) The phone cannot communicate with the switch. 2) Make sure your connections are good at both the jack that you plug the phone into and the block or connection coming from the Mitel switch. What Mitel Switch do you have?

A few of our rooms has the voicemail light blinking. There is not a voicemail waiting and can not be cleared from the front desk or from the room.

Message Waiting Indicator Your phone's message waiting indicator is either a light or special tone that alerts you when you have voice mail.

Occasionally, the message waiting indicator may be out of sync with your mailbox. In that case, the indicator light or tone is ON but there are no messages waiting, or the indicator light or tone is OFF when there are new messages waiting.

To get the message indicator back in sync

  1. Save or delete all new messages
  2. Hang up.
  3. If the message indicator does not go out or stop within a few minutes, there may be a problem, and you should contact Verizon.
  4. If the message indicator does go out or stop, call your own number and leave a message
  5. Hang up and wait
  6. If the indicator light or tone does not come on within a few minutes, there may be a problem, and you should contact the vender.

After dialing a number there is a delay of about 15 seconds before the call goes through

If you search online for this issue you will find many people telling you to root your phone, to delete the cache, etc. In my case I solved it by synchronizing all contacts again. Do you use your google account to sync them? If you do, then follow these steps below:
Try this:
0- Make a backup of all your contacts. This is only for safety, but its HIGHLY recommended.
1- Download any app from google play to delete all contacts. I used Contact Remover
2- Go to Accounts and Sync
3- Tap on your google account so you see all that your are synchronizing.
4- tap on the menu button and tap on Remove Account option.
5- Open the Contact Remover app and delete all contacts from the phone
6- Add back your google account and wait for it to sync all your contacts again

Both of my GE Dect 6.0 cordless phones, model #5-2811 say out of range or searching...out of the blue. How do I get my dial tone back???

Unlplug the power to all lines for 5 minutes, while waiting disconnect, inspect and clean the phone cords. Insert the phone cords back into the devices after 5 minutes of ALL devices being unpowered plug them all back in, Set each of the phones on the main receiver to "sync" them.

the port that the phone is connected to isn't working properly. Contact your system administrator or vendor.

I bought several used mitel superset 4025 phones. When I try to plug them in (we have two phone lines in one jack), the display flashes "waiting for sync" and the lights on the phone flash (in succession...

the Superset 4025 is a digital set that is intended to work with a Mitel telephone system. The port must be programmed and connected to a jack to allow the phone to work. The phone is not intended to be used as a home telephone.

I have a uniden dect1580 6.0 and the red light in the left hand corner blinks all the time.

That is the message waiting indicator, it is telling you that your Call Notes (Or whatever your service provider calls it's voicemail) has a message waiting. If you do not have a message waiting, you can turn the light of by following these steps:

Resetting the voice message waiting indicator
When you receive a new voice mail message, the new message LED on the top of the handset flashes and
appears in the handset display. In the event your message waiting light gets out of sync with your phone company’s
voice messaging system, you can manually reset it back to the “No messages waiting” state.
Press and hold FIND on the base for five seconds.
Note: The handsets connected to the base will start to beep, however, keep pressing for five seconds.
A beep sounds and the message alert tone is reset.

I have charged for abt 20 hrs for set up. all I get is "Searching" Help me to move foreward.Sue DECT1560 This is a new phone I am trying to get it in service. I have no dial tone ,message "searching"...

First make sure the phone jack is working by plugging a working phone into it.

if it is working, use the same phone cable to plug into the base of your new unit.

if you do not get dail tone, place the handset into the main charging base. this should sync the phone up to the base. lift it out and try again.

if you still do not get dail tone or see searching, open the phone and remove the battery. wait 30s or so, plug the battery back in and set the phone in the main charger again. wait 10second and try the phone again.

I was given a Mitel superset 4025, can this phone be used in my home office? When I plugged it in it blinks and says waiting for sync, does this mean I must reset it? if so, how?

This phones is to be used with a mitel phone system .It is a digital phones witch needs to be connected to mitel digital card on a mitel phone system.

My samsung i760 wiil not sync today. i run windows xp and have microsoft active sync 4.5. the pc connects to the phone but sync wiil not proceed.

Try to unplug the usb cable or the sinc cable and wait a few seconds and then plug it back in, be patient...If that don't work reboot the computer. Good Luck and don't get too frustrated.

Waiting for sync

This phone is a digital phone and requires connection to a digital system commonly called a "key system". If you have removed it from where it was connected and tried to use it at home or somewhere else it will not work. Most home or normal phone jacks are connected to your local provider directly and is what is called an analog system. The 2 are NOT compatable without an interface device. If it is connected to a key system then thier is a problem with the port on the Mitel keysystem that goes to the jack you are plugging the phone into and you will need a technician to fix/rewire this onsite.
