Question about Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W50 Digital Camera
When i turn on the camera I get a black screen with 'access"then says (while beeping)Turn the power off and on again with the E:91:01 blinking. It won't take picture and the zoom won't physically move.I can look at all my previous pic and zoom those.....but I can't take anymore:-(
Ya the zoom dosent not move: its due to two reasons. one s ur camera was switched ON accidently when u had it in pouch. its makes the lens system jammed. this wil cost 1800rupees to clear it in service centre.
second may be due to a faulty piece. replacement s only way,

The problem is the shutter is getting stuck. What I had to do was put it in MP3 mode and turn it on, switch to AUTO, and move the shutter open manually with my HAND.

Error: TURN THE POWER OFF AND ON AGAIN is displayed on the LCD screen when the Lens Mechanism is stuck or when affected by any malfunction. If turning the power on and off again does not resolve the error message, try doing a power reset and Initialize option.
Performing a manual power reset
Turn off the camera.
Remove the battery pack.
Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
Allow the camera to remain without power for 60 seconds.
Reinsert the battery pack.
Turn on the camera.
To reset the Camera back to factory default, press the RESET button located above the PHOTO button which will change all settings back to factory default. The images and videos will not get deleted.
If the issue persists, service may be required.
Thanks for contacting FixYa
