Re: Keyboard and mouse stopeed working

Make sure that you put the keyboard and mouse back in the same usb ports you took them out of and it will work, but if in different usb ports than before you will have to install the drivers again.

My computer does not recognize the new keyboard

STEP 1 Go to the > Start menu and go to the Accessories tab. Under Accessibility you'll find On-Screen Keyboard. Select this option to pull up a keyboard on your screen that you can use to input text until your keyboard is fixed.
STEP 2 Navigate to the Control Panel and then find the Hardware and Sound icon. Double click it, and then select Keyboard from the utility.
STEP 3 Click on the Hardware tab and then double-click on your keyboard in the hardware profile.
STEP 4 Select the Driver tab and then select Update driver. If you are connected to the Internet, a window will pop up initiating the process. If you are not connected, another window will pop up asking you to connect before continuing.
STEP 5 Follow the prompts to install the latest drivers. Then unplug the keyboard, plug it back in, and restart the computer.

Wireless mouse and keyboard not responding

Go to the device manager and uninstall both units. power down the pc, hook up the hardware and reboot. Make sure when yu uninstall the hardware that you do not check the box that says uninstall the drivers. You want to keep the drivers intact. When you reboot with the hardware attached, windows will read the hardware and reinstall the drivers. PC does not respond to mouse or keyboard

Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it to Reset/Connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly.
If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.
Hope this helps you. Bud

Keyboard and mouse not working

If you have only moved the computer and unplugged the keyboard and mouse, the software should not be the problem. Plug the reciever back into the computer then press the button on the reciever, then the button on the keyboard, wait for the lights to stop flashing then do the same again for the mosue, reciever first then the mouse. This should connec them again.

I hope this helps

Keyboard/mouse not working

You need to restore to a previous date before you installed the wireless mouse / keyboard.

If that dont work then your only solution is to format and reinstall since it might be you could have damaged a few vxd files window's needs to use those devices

if that wasnt done

shut down compuer

2.) plug mouse into green ps2 port and keyboard into the blue one

3.) turn on computer
