My onkyo tx-rz810 keeps going toDet.pretction mode how do I get it out of that mode

Does the display show you are in protect mode , or is a light indicating that? The unit automatically switches to standby when the
"Hardware" - "Power Management" - "Auto Standby"
setting in the Setup menu functions are set. The protective circuit function may have been activated.
If this has occurred, "AMP Diag Mode" appears on the
display when the unit is turned on again, and the unit
enters diagnostic mode. If the results of the diagnosis is
that there is no problem, the "AMP Diag Mode" display
disappears and you can use the unit normally again. If
"CHECK SP WIRE" appears on the display, the speaker
cables may be short-circuited. Make sure bare speaker
wires are not touching each other or the back panel of
the unit, then turn the unit on again. If "NG" is displayed,
immediately unplug the power cord from the wall outlet
and contact your dealer.
• The protective circuit function may have been activated
because the temperature of the unit rose abnormally.
If this happens, then the power will continue to turn off
after you have turned the unit on again. Make sure the
unit has plenty of space for ventilation around it, wait for
the unit to cool down sufficiently, and then try turning it
on again. This is out of your users manual.

General suggestions are to remove all speakers and speaker wiring with unit off. Turn on and see if problem has stopped. If not, let unit cool down if warm and try again later. If problem is still there it needs repair shop work. I fht problem went away, shut off power and connect one speaker at a time and testing. Keep adding speakers one at a time with power off and see if a bad speaker or wire set can be located

This set volume increse for 14 point. but system is off. then display showing there protect. how relese to protect.

Normally amps go into protect mode when a short circuit is detected. Check all speaker wires for faults or bad connections and the speakers themselves. If it does this with no speakers on, check the main power amp inside for short circuited parts.

My teac ag-790a 'protect' error message on display. When I brought it to the audio shop for repair it worked fine; at home again the same problem? What is the problem? Tx.

Hello
Check the putput wirings to speakers. If any of them has short circuit, the set will go to protection mode. You can understand it well, as it did worked fine at the repair shope. The set has no fault at all, but the wirings, connects to it have.
Just power ON the set at your home, without connection any output or input to it. See, it will not show any protection mode display. Switch it OFF. Connect the output to speakers, one at a time, and switch ON the set. Just do it for all other speakers. This way, you can find out, which speaker line causes the set to go to protection mode. Fine out the reason.
Never connect any input to the system, until works fine with out showing any protection display.
I helped you somewhat fine, I assumes.
Ok.

My Harmon kardon is stuck in protect mode

Disconnect all speaker connections and rca cables. Leave power, ground and remote wires intact. Try turning on again. If you still have a protection light your amp is faulty. Hopefully you have warranty. Double check all connections .A thumbs up would be greatly appreciated if this answer is helpful to you. Worth fixing.

Kenmore over the stove microwave, model # 721.62629200,only low speed fan works on the keypad,no high speed fan.

The fan has a setting for high speed, low, and off. Fan only running at low speed. This indicates problem towards. 1) the fan motor. 2) The loose fan wiring. 3) The fan switch. IN the unit there is a motor for fan.If the motor gets weak or short. The fan will run but only at low speed.Because at high speed the motor will require more power to run.In this case motor needs to be checked and replaced. The other possibility is the fan wiring. There are two wires going from fan to motor and two going from motor to power board. If any of this wire is got loose or getting short then this will stop the fan to run in high speed. In this case the wires needs to be checked and reconnected properly. In the unit there is a switch internally. When you select the fan to high speed mode the switch goes up. when you select the fan to low speed mode the switch turns down. But if the switch is faulty or got worn out. Then it will not move properly up/down.In this case switch needs to be replaced.IN some brand models the High speed and low speed are directly controlled from front control panel. There is no switch in that models. In that case the control panel needs to be checked and replaced. Thanks. keep updated for any more query.you can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

Protect appears on display on kenwood kdc 3034

Disconnect all the speaker wires at the receiver and turn it back on. If itdoesn't go into protect mode, your receiver is ok.

Reconnect the speakers one at a time being sure to turn the receiver off each time you connect a speaker and turn the receiver on until your receiver goes into protection mode again.

When it goes into protect mode again, the last speaker you connected has a problem. Trace the speaker's wire to the speaker looking for cuts or shorts along the way.

If you have a multimeter, switch itto ohms and check the speaker for a dead short, if you show a dead short you have a blownspeaker. Hope this helps.
