My Nikon D50 is working perfectly except that when you take a photo and try to view it, there is an "informational" display laying over the photo. The pictures are recorded fine, you just can't view them very well due to the info on top (like Camera Nikon D50, Metering Matrix, focal length 34mm) I read the book from front to back and can't find any reference to this. How can I get rid of this? Help, Rozie
Hi, the only thing I can see in the manual is on page 52 (below). You can scroll through the information provided using the up & down arrow keys on the multi-selector button. Scrolling though to the basic file info should give a clearer view. Perhaps if you select this option the next time you view it will default to it? I don't have the camera to try! I have the same problem as Rozie. If I press 'Enter', the display will clear so that I can see the photo, but as soon as I go to the next picture or even try to view the same picture again, the same thing happens.
