SOURCE: 1999 acura tl 3.2 at 3000 rpms it acts like it has a rev limiter. An it wont let it shift until you let off the gas

Hello
The engine and automatic transmission in this vehicles drive train are fully electronically controlled by a computer called the PCM (Power Train Control Module). Whenever a problem like this occurs the computer stores a record of the problem (there are of course some exceptions to this, like the fuel pump, engine coolant temperature sensor and MAF sensor for instance) in the form of a fault code in its memory, to read these fault codes you must have the systems memory scanned with a special tool. Once the fault code(s) are read you then must perform the appropriate diagnostic testing to find and resolve the problem(s) DO NOT REPLACE ANY PARTS UNTIL A TRAINED TECHNICAIN HAS DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM TO AVOID SPENDING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON PARTS THAT MAY NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM

Why is the sport mode light flashing on my 2000 Cadillac Catera?

Sport Mode Indicator Lamp and Automatic Transmission Warning Lamp (STL)
The sport mode indicator lamp illuminates when the vehicle has been put into the sport mode by pressing the "S" button on the gear selector. When this lamp is illuminated the vehicle will have slightly firmer shifts and increased performance for part and full throttle situations.
This lamp will also flash when there may be a problem with the automatic transmission. The transmission control module (TCM) performs a continual self diagnosis of certain control functions. The lamp will flash only when an error is detected. The TCM will store in memory a current and/or history trouble code when a problem is detected. I'd have it checked out !

I have asked this question a few times before Can steering while car is stationary in drive cause any sort of damage to a car. I was messing around with my car one day and turned the steering all the way...

I personally answered your question once before. Turning the steering wheel back and forth while in a stationary position did not damage anything. Your problems have nothing whatsoever to do with what you did. Stop worrying.

92 s-10 after engine warms wont accelerate

could be trash in fuel filter or around pickup screen in tank. While driving everything sticks to them like magnet when you shut off and it sits it all falls off to happen again when you start the vehicle again

Service engine soon light after cleaning carb

I too have just had the Service Engine Soon light come on, this week. Hmmm, interesting. We all have 2004 Nissan Sentra's. I too believe the dealers rip people off.

A co-worker asked immediately - How many miles do I have - I answered: 62,528. He said that is a Dealer function...they set it to go off around 60k, so we bring our cars in. Cha-Ching!

Hey, so what if it is not true? Luckily, I have the RECALL NOTICE, so my car goes in today anyway. I will ask them to turn off the SES. If they won't, then I am going to find a service manual, and turn my SES light off myself.
