Don't know what is going on but in the readout box keeps telling be to put doc. feeder down when it already is. Once I open and it resets then place the doc in the feeder it gives me the same message again. Have to restart all over. It works fine when i just place on the glass and copy I have a toshiba e-Studio 45 and when it is on and warmed up it says Ready. However once paper is loaded into the ADF it says 'Please Place Document Feeder in the Down Position'. I have checked the sensors including the Platen Sensor as mentioned above in the 03 Input/Output mode and they are all functional. I think there is a problem with the Feed Motor and I was wondering if that might have anything to do with the Error the Control Panel is displaying.

hayden du plessis Have you checked to see that the ADF is sitting 100% level (front to rear) and no skew. This can cause the sensor to misread and give that message.
