- The display has disappeared (I only have the one phone with 2 lines).
However, the display will occassionally appear if I'm on the phone - no pattern as to when it will display or not.- rileyva

Is this on the both hand sets? If it is then the only thing common to the both of them is the base and that would be your problem. If it is not then you will have to change the handset that is fading. It is not worth it to repair the handset
